NZ .net dude is the blog of Mark Lawrence, a .net solutions architect from Wellington, New Zealand.

Hey there. I’m just a guy from Wellington, New Zealand, who works as a .net solutions architect. I work for a New Zealand IT company called Optimation and I am based in their Wellington office.

Outside of work, I have a lovely wife (Anneliese, though she prefers “Anna”) and two of the coolest kids on the planet (Sarah and Nathan), along with three cats, a pet rat and a bunch of fish!

This blog is full of my opinions, ideas and points of view. I’m not claiming to be perfect so the contents of my blog are not likely to be either. You are of course free to use any code, concepts, etc, you find on my blog, but if it works for you, or helps you out, I’d appreciate a mention!

One thing to note though is that anything I say here is my own private opinion, and does not represent the official position of my employer. Often I’ll mention cool things that are happening at work, but perhaps more often, I’ll disagree violently from what my employer does/is doing, and will likely say so. Like I said, this is MY blog, and these are MY opinions.
